We decided to have a break from the Christmas madness staying overnight in Staithes and having dinner at this unassuming little restaurant just down the coast in Port Mulgrave. What can I say? Both my wife and I agreed, this was the best meal we'd ever had. The flavours were so well put together, and the steaks cooked to perfection. Don't expect a Miller and Carter size menu. We had the option of 3 starters, 2 main courses and 3 puds. But this simply means that every single dish is constructed with care and pride rather than standard food that's just churned out to the masses. We walked here on a wet and windy evening as a last minute booking. The food was amazing. The front of house lady was really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It's a cosy environment and you can tell they really care about the food and their guests. I would visit again if I were in the area. Thank you!
