Stayed in a two bedroom room for one night, was great value for money and would use again in the future if we were to return. Can't comment on the food or drink as we ate out so was a good experience overall.
black lion is short walk from train/bus station . we pass a wetherspoons on westborough to pass time with luggage till black lion opens then walk on past loads of shops and north st on left. the accomodation very CLEAN AND BASIC . we prefer family room as its worth paying extra ten pounds for big size of room. . no ensuite in any rooms. rooms on very short corridor and toilets and bathrooms at end of corridor. . we liked new carpet on stairs and staff were lovely . we have...read full review

On a visit to the area called in to watch a rugby match (World Cup) opening night, asked to put tv on ,no problem & turned jukebox down for us. Made us very welcome, great bar staff ?
