We were recommended to try the fish and chips from here by a couple of locals. The food did not disappoint at all. Lovely freshly cook food. It was very busy when we arrived and the waitresses were kept busy and very very friendly.The queue for takeaway meals was long which proves how popular this place is.
I absolutely love proper, Yorkshire-cooked fish and chips. I wasn't planning to eat here, but I was passing and was drawn in...1 had haddock, chips and mushy peas. They were delicious! Light, crispy batter on the fresh, flaky fish. Crispy chips with fluffy centres and unctuous mushy peas. Perfect.Very satisfying!Very friendly staff. Definitely recommended.

So I'm living temporarily in Settle and was fortunate to find this place. As I told the server, I was brought up on the seaside and this fish and chips is the best I have tried. Not greasy at all and fresh tasting. Not cheap but not expensive either. Very friendly people also. If you like fish and chips you will love this place. A reason you often find people queuing outside in the rain to get it.
