On arrival we seated ourselves, after 5 mins we placed our order, one breaded plaice and chips the other battered plaice and chips with a cup of tea and a glass of water. Everyone around us were brought their food before us even though we placed our order before them. After 15 minutes a staff member approached us and said they had done our order wrong so it would be another 5 minutes. After 10 minutes out food eventually arrived. Haven't eaten here for a few years so visited today, Wednesday 6th December, on a rare weekday day out with my husband. Was lovely & warm inside Bizzie Lizzies on a freezing cold but sunny day & we chose to sit in the window overlooking the picturesque canal. Lovely. We had fish & chips and fishcake & chips, both were really nice. Well cooked, generous portions and reasonably priced. The fishcake was really unusual, never had one like it. Not what I was expecting but I really liked it, would definitely order again (and I get why they sell out quick). I've been to both branches and this one is consistently the better of the two. One of our favourite chippies.
