Lovely pub. Also felt comfortable this evening, until...
a conversation with my fabulous friend about which flavoured Crisps we should get... I was denied alcohol. Yes that's right .. " how about a glass of water first" not even remotely drunk ... just a tired mum with no brain cells left to choose which crisps to buy. After being turned away from ordering food at another Skipton pub (4 adults, 2 kids 6.30 thurs) the service couldn’t have been more different! The staff were great and the lovely chef even created a dish for my fussy 10 year old. Thank you for being so accommodating. You turned a bad situation round massively and we now know where to head first!!
We were looking for a place to watch a game after a busy day at work and the friendly staff at the bar toke the order, we carry our drinks to the table and after 15 minutes food was on the table! Super quick! Both asked for mix grilled and both steaks were cooked to perfection what was a surprise regarding that the place was packed and I could see meals flying out of kitchen constantly.
