The overall quality of the food was very good, however the service left a lot to be desired.As an owner of a bar, I fully appreciate the problems of getting staff , and the young staff were doing their best but lacked some basic customer service skills.Our main course plates were not removed for some 40 minutes after finishing our meal . Honestly, the best meal I've ever had in Skipton. Been to a lot of resteraunts in in town, but for some reason I never thought to tick off Le Bistro. The food was seasoned and cooked wonderfully, the staff were excellent and the decor was very cosy. Will definitely return!

This place came recommended by a local. A few times I walked in, and no one was visible to greet me, so I left after a few moments. A few times I walked in, and it was too quiet (some overlap) so I left after a few moments. I ate there once or twice.The food was pretty good.
