A beautiful, very homely place. It is clean and fresh looking. Breakfast is a fair choice and good value. You get ? egg, bacon, sausage and beans or simply another sandwich ? or toast as you prefer. Good bread selection too, wholemeal is tastier with a little spread. Try the fudge cake if you dare. But your taste buds have a wide choice as an after too. Excellent welcome, friendly, great cakes and usual range of hot drinks. Facilities available at front of hall, with disabled access. Very good fare, very easy on the pocket too. We have a great time when we go there, and the philosophy is spot on. Knowing that any profit supports the elderly gives you a good feeling too. Would strongly commend WISE.

Visited this cafe after a walk along the riverbank.My friend and I were greeted immediately on entering by the two ladies serving and given a menu straightaway.We ordered a decaf cappucino each along with a piece of cake,which was delicious. The prices were very reasonable and we will definitely be calling in again.Just a shame they are only open midweek for three days!
