What can I say, this place is fantastic. From the moment you get there until you leave it's faultless.The food, atmosphere and service was second to none. The variety of dishes to choose from is superb.I had the farfalle da carlo and my partner had the lobster spaghetti, both delicious.Needless to say we have booked to go again next month.

1066 catered for my daughters christening and they were absolutely amazing. The sandwich platters including pork pies, quiche and sausage rolls were really tasty. They also provided some lasagnes for us - including a veggie one. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was! We would definitely use them for catering services again xx

First time at this venue. Love the setting in a village but overlooks the countryside. Management have pulled this pub together, it went down with the last Management so I didn't get the chance to try it out. Busy day and all was great.

A beautiful, very homely place. It is clean and fresh looking. Breakfast is a fair choice and good value. You get ? egg, bacon, sausage and beans or simply another sandwich ? or toast as you prefer. Good bread selection too, wholemeal is tastier with a little spread. Try the fudge cake if you dare. But your taste buds have a wide choice as an after too. Hot drinks include a pot of tea, coffee or a hot chocolate. You pay by card or cash. Friendly staff too. On street parking is available or just round the village hall parking. Wheelchair users will also find reasonable access here.

We have been eating at Tim's bistro for nearly 2yrs now whilst attending the car boot. Great food and good prices...nothing too much trouble for the wonderful staff who make us all feel welcome. Always friendly banter and a great atmosphere. Always busy and runs like clockwork. ❤

The Oven Door Bakery

Pork pie heaven! A return visit after seven years did not disappoint! We also tried the apple curd cake and the cinnamon scroll. Both were to die for! The bakery is situated across the road from the Rest Park, which is perfectly located with benches for sitting on to enjoy our snacks. The gardens are beautifully maintained.
