Tucked away in a small village, this is a very friendly pub that serves good food. Great service considering they were catering for a large table we appreciated that we weren't forgotten about.Definitely somewhere we would return to once again for a meal.
Visited for a night to explore the local area before a works event in York. Staff were lovely and friendly before arriving and whilst there. Having booked a table for an evening meal I explained I could be late due to traffic and long drive, they offered to cook me food and have it waiting for me. Fortunately traffic was okay and I enjoyed a absolutely fantastic freshly cooked meal. Rooms were lovely and clean and comfy, good beers and brilliant breakfast.Can't wait to go back

On a break from Norfolk and came with a local friend for dinnerFood was lovely, the girls serving were friendly and attentive, hardly knew they were there as service was so efficientCosy and warm ambience...Would have preferred a normal table instead of the high ones because the stools werent that comfortable...but a nice evening
