A great evening for my friend and I. We showed up without a booking on a Saturday (sillyness) and Harry behind the bar was an absolute hero. We had a nice little nook in the bar area. Harry answered all our questions about the food options and gave us his recommendations, and some laughs. We were both happy with what he helped us pick, thanks Harry! What a friendly, cheerful and efficient guy.
This place is amazing and the service, and the staff are so welcoming. We were greated by Rebecca who looked after us. The food menu was very good and quality of food was excellent. Food came out nice and hot in this cold weather.

Seriously good food, lovely beer and good coffee. Was the best pub food we have had in a long time and this was at 3pm on a freezing cold winter Monday afternoon. So if you were picking a time when the food could be not as good it would have been then. But no lovely bread with Camembert and the best spit roast chicken
