“Nice pub, the pizza was good and the people here were great. Bit of a push to suggest they have craft beer with only Neck Oil or Punk available but the beer was served nicely. They had a couple of cask lines on but Tribute and Doombar only so I gave those a swerve.
All said, I'd go back, it has a good vibe to it and the town itself seems nice. As a side, they seem to host a lot of events, from Ibiza nights to quizzes which is pretty cool.”

“Basic room, but clean and sufficient to lay your head. Linda and staff made us feel like locals! Very welcoming and super customer service, room wasn’t ready so she gave us a discount voluntarily!which was so lovely , busy pub full of well behaved young people having fun…… but by midnight not a sound . We are hoping to stay agsin for the famous beer festival later this year, Kate and Brian Thomson 23/5/23”

“Our first ever Christmas Day lunch in a restaurant (69 & 83 years).
Fantastic Food, Superb Service (Young Ladies), Great Atmosphere and a reasonable price.
Ready to be ok Next Year.
UPDATE:
Return to have a Saturday night dinner, expectations were high!! But we got PUB GRUB. In a restaurant setting with a huge television with football on.
Very disappointing.
We could have gone to the pub in Rushden for this!!!”
