Been here a fairbit with friends and family. Resturant food is amazing and service great. Went recently for dinner at the bar. (Different menu). Drinks and atmosphere are great however was a function on and service was slower than usual. Food was not as usually expected and about an hour wait. First time we have had a meal at The Carriage House. Sunday roast was delicious. Lots of veggie sides. Loved the red cabbage. Only dropped a star as my husband wasn't so keen on his baked cheese cake. Impressed by the fast, friendly service.

Sunday lunch was superb. Had been for a evening meal with friends last November which was really good & everyone enjoyed. Have also been in for bar food last year and have never been disappointed. I read bad reviews recently but I'm glad I ignored them. It's easy to write a bad review but forget to write a good one, but I'm very happy to give 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ & say thank you. See you again soon!
