Had a fantastic meal at this Wetherspoons - a new one for us. The environment was bright, clean and welcoming and the food was the usual superb value. The beer was particularly good. The service was quick which was ideal for us as we hadn’t much time. Unfortunately our pleasure was marred by the yobs of Rushden, who (during the hour we were parked in the nearby Duck Street carpark), vandalised our car causing hundreds of £ worth of damage. Only popped in for a quick pint, but I was served quite quickly, the reception was warm, and the beer ice cold and very refreshing. There is a nice beer ‘garden’ with plenty of seats. Inside was crowded with lots of people eating. Will definitely be back.
I came in yesterday evening with my Father for a meal and drink, only for it to be interrupted by a rather intoxicated young woman with a very charismatic out going in your face type of personality, which to some myself included at first was quite taken back by.A bouncer on duty reveled to me that this person in question has previously been barred from the premises on at least two occasions and I could certainly see why now, I honestly don't know how he does what he does to be...read full review
