We went with a big party of 19 for our pre wedding meal in December and from the start of the booking process until the end of the meal we had a great experience. As it was a large party and just before Christmas we had to provide our food options in advance but we had a lot of options as well as some additional vegan options. We were greeted with a very warm welcome from Annie and April with a complimentary glass of Prosecco. They made us and our Labradors feel very welcome. The Sunday roast was excellent and could not be beaten anywhere in the country. Looking forward to going back very soon.
My daughter and I booked for Christmas lunch and I have to say, it was exceptional. Never had a better meal out. It started with a selection of hors de oeuvres, then a starter, a main course - the best beef wellington I've ever been served; for dessert I chose a ginger ice cream bombe and my daughter a winter berry crumble.
