Stayed overnite in the 'studio' (private bathroom), very special, done up like great-granny's cottage with TV & mod cons. Lovely setting, by a brook. Unfortunately the bar & restaurant were closed (post-CoViD style limited to Thurs-Sat opening) so cannot say anything about that except looks like it would be a great spot. Anyone looking for a great meal, a wonderful location, friendly attentive staff then look no further. This is literally the gem of the countryside pub/restaurant/events venue. We would travel 80 mile round trip at least once every 6-7 weeks to go for lunch or dinner or even just a day out spin and a little drink stop here. The staff are so lovely.
