Was on holiday with the family and ate here a few times, the food was lovely and staff were friendly. Loved that they had colouring pages to keep the kids busy. Will defo be back if in that part of the country againKid-friendliness: They had colouring pages for the kids, and on our second visit had ran out and staff went to the manager to print out some more. My kids were delighted ?
Went with one of my kids today. We got a fish and chip between us. It was honestly one of the best fish and chip I've ever had.. the portion was very big, me and the kid couldn't eat any more.... there's a reason this place has been around as long as it has been.. staff were great.. to the owner, you've nailed it... keep it up!!

very good chips and generous portions. I had the onion rings and were cooked to my liking. I had the chicken goujons in the past and they also were very tasty. Parking can be problematic, but worth the effort to get there.
