Looking for a dog friendly pub ( 2 dogs both well behaved) on a recent stay in Ballycastle. Stuck our heads round the front door and met the Fintan who invited us all in! Best bar find and great Guinness. Made so welcome and scored with a great snug out of the way. Make it a priority to pop in. No loud flatscreens too! Old world charm.
The restaurant serves quality food, better and more interesting than standard pub fare. I enjoyed smoked cod served on boiled baby potatoes with broccoli and a creamy mushroom sauce. My fellow diner tucked into an excellent rare sirloin with onion rings, chips and veg.

Absolutely gorgeous food. I had the steak sandwich and my husband had a chicken caeser salad sandwich which they kindly made him. The steak sandwich was amazing, cooked rare and a high quality cut. Lovely atmosphere and brilliant food - we will be back in the summer!
