Excellent spot in a seaside town! Donegans serves food all day, during the early part of Saturday you eat downstairs in the bar and the evenings you can eat upstairs. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Nothing is to much trouble. Best food and service in Bangor. I’ve been going for years and have never had a bad meal. Fresh ingredients and great portions and the staff are wonderful. Also caters for gluten free and vegetarians. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Lovely veg options.Dietary restrictions: A lot of gf options - O’Hara’s chicken is gorgeous as is the veg or chicken curryMention that you are gf for full options.Parking: Car park behind donegans. Pay during the day and free at night.
First time visiting and we had a warm welcome, lovely authentic Irish pub. Food was excellent, portions are big! Good options for different tastes and dietary requirements. Would recommend ?
