Decided to call into village tavern for lunch on the way through. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and shown to our seats. The server was most pleasant, and after a lengthy chat I discovered he was the proprietor. Food was excellent, especially the pepper sauce, really something!!! Our meal was very reasonably priced and there was plenty of it. 2 mains 2 desserts and 4 soft drinks 32 pounds.
