Arrived just as it opened on a weekend so no issue with seating. Had a carryout while staying in Newcastle. Ordered s+s chicken. Duck in plum sauce. Chicken curry and chicken fried rice. service was fast and came with a complimentary large bag of prawn crackers. Food was piping hot and very tasty. Ordered and served by pleasant staff. Well done sea palace.
The Sea Palace has been a regular haunt for my wife and I for a long time and this was the first time we were disappointed. The place was empty when we arrived and the waiter gabbled incessantly at us. The food arrived quickly but it was nowhere near the quality we have been used to at the Sea Palace over the last 30 years. The food was so hot I began to wonder if it had been microwaved.
