I have been this restaurant a number of times and never been disappointed. However it was so good on my visit last night. The staff were superb attentive, polite and efficient. My meal of chilli prawn starter and main of Pork fillet stack was excellent. This restaurant never disappoints but on this occasion the whole experience was superb.
Having eaten in Tides on a number of occasions and always had a good experience, last night was rather disappointing. Shown to a table which was probably the least best upstairs in a corner beside the loos we got off to a disappointing start. Arrived at 6.45 and email booking said we had the table to 8pm. Meal arrived at about 7.40. The smoked fish meal was fine but my medallions of pork wre overdone and a bit dry. Grilled peppers and pesto fine and champ a bit dry also. Staff...read full review

Not my first time in this restaurant and happily won't be my last.The food was of a high standard and portions plentiful.Staff were friendly if a little inexperienced .Value wise, 2 mains, 2 desserts, a couple of soft drinks for under £50 in this day and age is good value in anyone's book.Be back soon.
