Smallest takeaway cups ever, got two coffees and tray bakes, all served in takeaway boxes and cups, why? We where only sitting outside. Guys you’re charging plenty, a proper cup or larger takeaway cup would make all the difference. Tray-bakes tasted better than they actually looked.
Portstewart cafe - excellent quality of good but marred by the lack of plate and cutlery ! It was provided in a cardboard box with wooden knife and fork (not really adequate to the job of cutting up toast - and I had to deconstruct the box to get at it). Only when leaving did I see people eating from real plates and with metal cutlery! What on Earth had we done to deserve that service? Understandable if it was a takeaway - but it wasn’t. What a little gold mine! During a flying visit to Portstewart, I was taken to Lost & Found for breakfast last Saturday and begged to go back on Sunday. We sat outside where the delicious food was brought to us in neat cardboard boxes while we enjoyed the stunning ocean view. The coffee was simply the best!
