Firstly, the restaurant and campsite are different owners. The campsite was clean and tidy, but the toilets and shower rooms were not in great order,functional, but dated the pitches were adequate, but not large but adequate. There was no provision for disabled the new toilet block for the women had a nice wide front door but the threshold inside was not low so this would make difficulty for someone in a wheelchair to get into. I've passed by the Barn at Beal many times and wanted to stop and finally had the excuse to (my mum was in town). The venison stew was delicious and the tea most welcome. The staff were extremely friendly and always available if anything was needed.The little dog who went round to every table was particularly charming as anyone who fed him became his new favourite. Lovely place and food was great. Sadly they only had one poor boy greeting and seating, serving, clearing and ordering.... It was a very long wait even though there were plenty tables.
