Christian visitors to Holy Island for the day (30.08.23), I was with my sister and her three young girls, whom I was visiting in Newcastle. It was the most beautiful day and we thought we would have a quick bite before driving back, enjoying the view. We had a brilliant stay (6 nights) at the Crown & Anchor. The staff, service and food are all first-class. The triple room was clean, comfortable and a perfect location just minutes walk from our archaeological dig. The breakfasts were delicious and every evening meal was memorable. Highly recommended for a beer, meal or overnight stay. We will definitely be back.
