Booked to eat dinner here as we were staying nearby & they have a decent varied menu with some good veggie options.When I called to book I was asked if we were bringing dogs, as they have a dog friendly dining ares, we weren't - but worth knowing anyway.We had a friendly welcome & the food was really fresh & tasty.I would have had a dessert if they'd offered cheese & biscuits, but unfortunately they don't.We all enjoyed our dinner - I'm definitely eating there again the next time...read full review

Very nice Sunday roast. We had 2 regular and 2 small, but plenty meat on each plate. Beautiful pork and turkey breast! Very tender.Would definitely return, but I'd have the small next time to possibly leave room for a pud!Parking in a small carpark and you need to register numberplate at reception, but can then leave the car for the day if you want to explore beautiful Amble.

We didn't get the table that was reserved for us. My wife was served a tonic water on arrival and the waitress offered to put it on our tab. When food was ordered we paid. We were sat at a very tight table to the right of the door. We decided to eat our food and go. Thinking we had paid for everything, when my wife paid at the bar, we left, to be stopped and told we owed £2 for the tonic.
