Cycled there today and had a mug of tea and a lovely toasted teacake with butter and raspberry jam costing £4.20.There is only outside seating mostly on grass with please t views of the countryside.The woman that takes the orders at a cuppy hole is so friendly and welcoming.To get there take the road from the mini roundabout in Ponteland heading north past Police HQ for 2.5 miles and Kirkley cafe is on the left.I would defo recommend this cafe for a very friendly service and...read full review
Staff are helpful and friendly, the menu is extensive, cheese scone are how I remember from my childhood, large, soft and very tasty. The parsnip and maple syrup cake is absolutely delicious and so moist. I will have to bring my camera next time as the birds are varied and come close. A lovely relaxing place to visit. ??☕

Lovely Café. Inside it's small but comfortable. A favourite with cyclists. Top quality cakes and tray bakes. A good variety of hot and cold drinks. Plenty of outdoor seating. Staff are always polite and welcoming. Highly recommended to all, even those not comfortable wearing lycra ??
