This cafe has the most amazing selection of sweet treats. Spoilt for choice. The team are lovely people. Spotted someone having a breakfast will certainly be back for that. A nice warm welcome too.

Lovely place for a stop on a river walk. Has plenty to choose from.I was sick of hearing my dad bang on about scones and hot baguettes, so went and chose the sausage and onion baguettes. Well, they looked amazing. Loaded with chunky sausage and onion and coated in gravy....only to tuck into it and find it barely luke warm. Very disappointing. I'm not one to complain, so tucked in regardless. The coffee was nice though ?

Scone NirvanaThis wonderful caff, part of the Visitor Centre and right on the edge of the young Tyne ( lovely walk to Wylam) but even better is the food, all cooked fresh. Cakes home made and fabulous , but THE SCONES, THE SCONES! I am a crone who has consumed many a scone but I have never had one as sumptuously delicious as the fruity one I had the honour to consume here. Tears of joy as I recollect it in tranquillity..
