Tyne Riverside cafe

What a fantastic little gem this place is. The food is great and brilliant value. Its all fresh and cooked on site including the cakes and bakes. It's in a beautiful location beside the Tyne River with local walks galore. So this is a perfect place to refuel after a long walk or to grab a quick cuppa when visiting the playpark. The staff are friendly and welcoming too.

White Swan

7 years ago I used to live in Ovingham and was a regular at the pub. I went tonight with my wife as we'd been on grandparent duty in Wylam. I had the peppercorn chicken burger and the boss had loaded fries. I don't drink alcohol now and was happy to see a good range of non alcoholic drinks. I'd forgotten how large the portions were and felt I'd dodged a bullet when I turned down the starter option. My food was fantastic and and my wife's food was too but enough for at least two. The staff are very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I'll not be waiting 7 years to return.

The Falcon

Just had a work colleagues Retirement do there this week. The area we were sitting was perfect, the food was lovely & the 2 girls working that night Wednesday 6th March were fantastic. Nothing was a bother to them, customer service was amazing. They made the night one to remember.

Gloria Restaurant Prudhoe

Very pleasant restaurant, not easily accessible if you have difficulty walking as up a steep flight of stairs. There may be a lift ( never asked). The food was excellent and they have a varied range of drinks on offer.

Miners Lamp Community Cafe and Hub

Lovely place to go. Nice park too. Welcoming staff. What more could you ask for?!Vegetarian options: They have cheese toasties/paninis & they have tomato soup & mushroom soup. They have fruit scones too and other things. I don't know the full menu but I believe there is a vegetarian option.Kid-friendliness: 100% kid friendly

New Loon Wah

Absolutely great take away . Great portions. Very friendly. And they deliver. Just as good as restaurant quality. Crispy beef and salt and pepper king prawns delicious.

The Halfway House

Balls Restaurant & Tea Room

Friendly service, couldn’t have done more. Fish & chips best I’ve had in North East. Give it a try, family business with people who care. Not cheapest but well worth it for quality.

Caffe Ginevra Prudhoe

Came here with family for a quick snack and a warm drink. The flavoured hot chocolates are beyond delicious! I have never in the world found a hot chocolate as good as theirs. Loved the mint! We love you Caffe Ginevra and will definitely be back. Love from Australia ❤️???

Greggs

Like every other Greggs... saying that, it's cheap, the food and the coffee were nice and the staff did what they needed to do.Wheelchair accessibility: Large entrance door directly from the main street footpath, so as long as you're on the footpath, access is fine. The food is displayed at at low level but the counter is a little higher, as is the card reader.

Five Star Takeaway

Lovely food curry isn't too spicy . I had Peking sauce not like I normally get from a takeaway and it was very very spicy too spicy for me. The man who served was polite and friendly. Will be going again for definite

Dhillons Fish Inn

I have Got Fish & Chips Yesterday , that was amazing & delicious . Thanks alot Stephen for providing Such Delicious Food . Will be come again & again to visit this shop & highly recommend it who is fond of Fish . Thanks alot Guys You made my Day .

Yesterday it was my first time visiting this place and the food was delicious, the prices very reasonable and the staff were so nice. Such a warm and welcoming environment. Very much recommended!!

We arrived at 6 and really enjoyed are family meal I always find the meat of high quality and service excellent by the time we left the restaurant was getting busy with a good buzz but if you like it a bit quieter go at 6

Caffe Ginevra Low Prudhoe

Our favourite place to visit for a coffee or treat! My kids love the ice cream, and the flat white coffees are the best around! Always a very friendly welcome and great service. And so nice to support a local family run business! Recommended for take away and sit-in.

Lilium Garden

Probably one of the best Chinese takeaways in the north of England, and a rival to those further south too. The food is excellent and served in prodigious quantity. The price is good and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Adam & Eve

Lovely bar just next to the train station and bus station so if you miss a bus or train you could always drop in to the Adam & Eve and have some beverages while you wait or even a bite to eat if you want to stay longer ?Vegetarian options: My son is vegetarian and he had halloumi fries and also cheesy chips. He enjoyed both he said. I tried the cheesy chips and they were very good! We will definitely go back again and I think I will get myself the cheesy chips next time as they're sooo good!!Parking: The car park was empty when we arrived around 6 pm.Kid-friendliness: The bar staff welcomed my children & our dog ? too ?Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, but I think you'd need a little assistance through the 1st set of doors especially; simply just to hold the doors open for you. The door further up which would be easier (I believe) was closed at the time we went.

Amazing Food, Professional Polite Service and Sparkling clean kitchens in open view. We get food here every week and have tried many parts of the menu. All of it has been delicious , the service is so good and the kitchens always in full view are sparkling clean. Robert.

Until recently I have driven to crawcrook to buy my kebabs and pizzas. Since the change of ownership it has improved exponentially, simply put, if I was in crawcrook now wanting a pizza I'd be driving to tasty's for it.Good food with decent size portionsGood pricesFriendly staffCan't ask for much more!

Dr Syntax

Definitely a local for the locals. Although on the main road they was a bypass road built a number of years ago around the town so passing trade will be limited. For the locals, a good bar.

Spice Delight Indian Takeaway

Never had a bad experience with this Indian take away. My favourite take away and has been for the past 3 years. Fast delivery service and at an affordable price.

McDonald's

This is a 5 star mcdonalds. That's a 2 star anywhere else but as mcdonalds go this one is great. Very clean, quick, fresh etc. Still serves mcdonalds food but you really can't fault them for that. For that I fault myself because I keep eating it.
