Attended the new ‘Taster’ menu tonight showcasing a new menu and new chef who will work alongside Tom.Fabulous food. Not a hint of pretentiousness but good honest plates that will go splendidly with a glass of wine or pint of beer. A delightful pub with polite, attentive, and helpful staff. The beer was excellent and reasonably priced. The food was superb. The steak was cooked to perfection and good quality, and the gourmet burger was full of flavour and also good quality produce. My only negative comment would be that I would rather it was served on a plate rather than a board, but that did nothing to detract from the food. I will most definitely be visiting again when in the area.
