Christmas Day lunch with family. A very warm & festive welcome from all the staff, & complimentary Prosecco on our table. Our starters were tasty, especially the herby beetroot & cheese terrine with Melba toast! Took the wife and dog for our annual Christmas Eve lunch here and from start to finish, we loved this place. We were seated near the fire and the guys immediately came over to show our Pepé a whole load of love, which, by his waggy tail, was definitely reciprocated! The reduced menu still had loads to offer us both, but we both ended up going for the pie - I'm happy to make the claim this is the best pie for miles around. Fab curry and cocktail night out with pals last night. The service was excellent and the pub looked wonderful. Pubs like this are the heart and soul of communities. Collingham is lucky to have this community pub.
