This traditional country pub is a hidden gem and one of the very best dining experiences in the area. Enjoyed an amazing Indian meal last night prepared by a professional chef and can’t wait for he next one. God food. Good beers. God hosts. Blazing fire. What’s not to like.
We are a group of friends who arrived on horseback for a few drinks.....it was a great experience! A friendly welcome, efficient service and even assistance with drinks to the car park where the horses were parked! A perfect evening, thank you!!

We stayed overnight in our motorhome on a Sunday night. We were given a warm welcome by Sarah while parking in the carpark. We spent the evening in the pub. We had very nice beef sandwiches. Unfortunately we arrived too late for Sunday roast. Participated in the quiz with the very friendly locals. Fabulous experience. Sarah and Matt are very warm and welcoming people. I would thougherly recommend this lovely village pub to everyone, especially motorhomers
