Main St, Bathley, NewarkA lovely welcoming pub with lots of outside seating, very dog-friendly, sitting in a lovely pretty village with nice walks from there with our dog. We had lasagne and chicken with leek and Stilton, the lasagne was a generous portion and clearly home made with loads of filling and a rich creamy sauce, the chicken was tender and succulent with a good Stilton flavour both were served with chips (our choice) and an added side of cheesy garlic bread oh and a couple of cold Guinness zero’s. Our food was tasty, hot, cooked to order and worth the wait. The dog was very happy with her meal too (natural boar dog treat available at the bar).
A great little pub with lovely food, staff and atmosphere well worth checking out.

Muskham Services, North Muskham, NewarkThis is a good place to stop for a rest while traveling to the south.A few chairs and tables in place.Good quality, all prices visible, full shelves, breakfast deal and very nice girl serving customers.We had coffee and bacon roll for £3.15 each.There are toilets and parking spaces.Nice music if you sit down on the lounge.
