Main St, Bathley, NewarkHaving got caught out in the floods on the evening of the 7th December 2023 I was towed to this pub by two extremely decent gents and welcomed into the Crown Inn with my Bulldog Duchess by friendly staff and a very welcoming femal bar maid, they let me sit in dry off and I decided to have a portion of fish and chips whilst waiting to have my classic car recovered, the fresh Grimsby cod fish was cooked to perfection with nice crispy batter and lovely chips, the portion big enough to share and more than reasonable in price, whilst I ended up there under not brilliant circumstances due to the flood this time I will return for a meal in the future. Highly recommended and I have already recommended it to friends and family, oh and my dog Duchess enjoyed the experience as well. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Muskham Services, North Muskham, NewarkThis is a good place to stop for a rest while traveling to the south.A few chairs and tables in place.Good quality, all prices visible, full shelves, breakfast deal and very nice girl serving customers.We had coffee and bacon roll for £3.15 each.There are toilets and parking spaces.Nice music if you sit down on the lounge.
