I rarely eat fries but just fancied some today at Trowell services after a visit to Yorkshire. I should have realised all was not well because there was a crowd of bored looking people hanging aroud the Burger King stand. You have to poke at a screen to place your order which is not my idea of fun but I perservered. Overpriced for what it is. Ordered and had to wait for 30 minutes just to get the wrong burger. Perhaps the only good thing about my meal was that I wasn’t given any bacon. The food was cold, burger overcooked and dry. The staff were nice and apologetic about the wait but clearly didn’t want to be there as well as lethargic and clueless about what they had to do. Cold coffee Warn burger stale bread Taste less meal Very disappointed no receipt given And server having to take orders from a flashing monitor. Quit a contrast to our last meal a couple of days ago!
