We've visited a few times and thoroughly enjoyed our drinks & meals here. Lovely welcoming pub with the added bonus of the country park.Most recently we came for Christmas Day dinner. Excellent service, ordered through the qr code, the starter popcorn chicken and chicken strips came out fresh, our food for 4 people, steak and ale pie, ultimate burger and two children's gammon steaks all came out freshly prepared and cooked, all hot, was fantastic, really enjoyed every moment being at the burnt stump, my favourite pub around Nottinghamshire.

I was absolutely blown away by the food and the attentiveness of the staff on Christmas Day. They went above and beyond for my family. Even plating and boxing up my in laws dinner as they had covid. The staff were all so kind and upbeat considering they had been working all of Christmas Day. Food was also delicious and very reasonable.Thank you so much.
