Under new management which is welcomed. Great location and a really old interesting pub filled with history.Service and cleanliness was great. As was the pizza which is cooked in a pizza oven... and it shows !Shows live sports on multiple screens too.
Well, the new owners know how to keep punters happy!Warm welcome from busy, personable bar staff, so refreshing to be acknowledged when you enter a busy pub.Still has previous cosy atmos & good outdoor seating area.We had a late lunch & drinky on Friday afternoon & the 2 pizzas & 1 chips were fresh, tasty & of generous proportions.The conscientous chef came out to us for feedback & gave us a pizza box so we cd take our uneaten slices home, which was a nice touch.Another chap,...read full review

An amazing pub with new owners, been here a few times over the last week and the beer is great and an awesome pub feel right at home and dogs are allowed.
