The Cod's Scallops Fine Fish & Chips certainly lives up to it's name. Great haddock, chips and mushy peas washed down with a lovely strong cup of tea. Friendly professional staff and a nice chilled atmosphere. Some of the finest I have tasted. 5 star.
Visited yesterday- had the lunch special for £10 which was reasonable. Overall it does seem a bit pricey here. The fish and chips were lovely. The tartare sauce isn't to my taste as its got lemon in. The mushy peas were good. Their homemade red sauce I wasn't a fan of- too sweet. The service was 10/10. We were served by the manager Gem and she went above and beyond for us. Takeaway ordered on Tuesday 31st October. There was a slight issue with the order but they did everything and more to put it right. So friendly and helpful and the food was excellent too. Thank you. We'll definitely order again. ?Parking: Small leisure park with shared parking with other outlets but plenty of room.
