Great Local Pub & Restaurant We visited late Friday Afternoon just for Teas and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The Pubs lovely inside. Staff are helpful and friendly too We will see you again soon. Keep up the good work ??
Last minute decision to return to this lovely pub on a Monday evening for dinner having not eaten here for a few years. The new management and staff (Gary & Lindsay) were very welcoming and friendly providing great service throughout our visit. Menu is extensive. We loved the fish & chips and steak pie. Living in the next village we much prefer the Old Ship in Lowdham. Proper food, great service and a welcoming atmosphere. A great range of beers (Oakham Citra was great), we had liver and onions and game casserole - quality was fantastic and a great price - support this gem of a pub!
