Was staying near here for a weekend with friends and so we booked for Sunday lunchtime. It was carvery and so my 2 friends tucked into the roast dinner and said that it was really good. I eat plant based and so asked the waitress if there was anything at the carvery that I could eat. I was really impressed as she knew her allergens. We went for Sunday lunch. It was a really good meal. The joints were not giant ones like in big chain pubs but this meant they were fresher not given time to dry out. The vegetables were the same regularly replenished so always fresh. Wide range of chive of meat and vegetables. The staff were really polite and efficient quick excellent service. Recommend to anyone!

It's a shame the food wasn't brilliant as it's a lovely place and lovely staff. The food had simply been under the warmers for too long. Hard yorkshire puddings and rocks for roast potatoes. The rest wasn't too bad.
