We had lunch here today. Fish n chips they were absolutely delicious. We had to wait a while because they were busy, but well worth it. The food came fresh n red hot. The batter was crispy n light. We were well looked after staff were friendly but not intrusive.
Amazing food and very friendly staff. We have been to the hop pole several times throughout last year and we were very sad to hear that it could have been closing down. Went again last week for Sunday lunch and we thought that it would soon be closing but we found out it’s not which is a big tick for us. We have been to many restaurants for Sunday lunch and I have to say the hop pole is the best around.
