We called in the pub as group of 8 people walking from our campsite into town. What a lovely friendly pub, it was Sunday dinner time they gave us a plate of sandwiches free. Everyone was chatty and helpful. They could not do enough for you they must have heard us say we were warm and straight away they were piping the door open and making sure we were comfortable. Friendly enough. Early evening on Saturday the Sports Bar was full of noisy lads prepping for a good night out but they were all in good spirits. Has a Pool table, big screen TV and good cider.

Called in on our walk ,throwing it down ,great sports bar about 5 tv,s with football on,football lads just returned to pub ,free sandwiches,had a go on football ticket won £20 whats not to like great pub
