Hearty Goodfellow is an excellent pub with a good selection of ales and extremely hot, home-cooked food. The pub has a cosy atmosphere and a friendly staff. It is recommended to book in advance as it can get busy, especially on Saturdays. The pub has a nice beer garden which is popular on good weather days. There is a convenient car park at the rear of the pub. The menu offers a nice selection of food and drinks. Hearty Goodfellow also has good facilities for children. The stilton sauce served with the steak is a popular choice.
