Food was ok, plenty of it. Some elements didn’t appear to be home made but still good quality. Roast Beef was tough but tasted good. Staff were efficient and service good. Lovely venue. Unfortunately was cold due to boiler broken would have been good to know prior to going as would have worn thicker jumpers. Hence 2 stars for atmosphere otherwise would have been a solid 4.

We had walked from Abingdon with two very grumpy toddlers and a dog to find we had booked the wrong dining area! The dog-friendly area was full but, seeing the desperate faces on the parents, the staff were able to find us a spot. The service was great and the food was excellent - best chicken burger ever! Thanks so much to all the staff who made a stressful day out a little more bearable!

Had a lovely work meal here, held in a separate section of the pub. Food was delicious, Diet Coke tasted a little odd and had some difficulty achieving “no ice” on a not particularly warm evening, but otherwise the service was great: both friendly and attentive. Really enjoyed the meal overall and would gladly return in the future with my family.
