Duo Chef's
4 Keens Ln, ChinnorStopped by Duo Chef in Chinnor for a curry and had a very good experience. I asked the waiter for a recommendation and tried one of their dishes. The staff were genuinely warm, attentive and welcoming throughout the meal, which made the whole experience very pleasant.
I also had a Cobra beer, which was light and refreshing and paired well with the food.
One small note for anyone visiting: some dishes seem adapted to suit UK palates, so if you prefer something more traditional or spicier, it’s worth mentioning it to the staff. They are very accommodating and happy to guide you.
Overall a very positive experience and a place I’d happily return to.

White's Windmill Cafe
White's Field Community Hall, Mill Ln, ChinnorWe went here for a late breakfast / brunch and were extremely happy with the food and service. This is very much a small diner / café with limited menu but very much met our requirements on the day. There is a wonderful windmill adjacent to the café but unfortunately it was closed for renovation so we will have to go another time.
Parking: Unless there was a sporting event on at the club, there would always be ample parking for the café and windmill.

Golden Chopsticks
51 Lower Rd, ChinnorPleasantly surprised to discover this gem in Chinnor. Outstanding flavours, clean tasting and well seasoned. I ordered king prawns stir-fried with black bean sauce, I requested it to be spiced up - it was the perfect level of hot/spicy with fresh chillies, without overdoing it. Chow Mein noodles excellent also. Very impressed and will return!

Sir Charles Napier
Sprigs Holly, ChinnorA truly outstanding meal yesterday at the Charles Napier. The food was absolutely delicious - we loved the scallops and squid bolognese and the fish of the day. All beautifully presented and full of flavour. The wine list has something for everyone. The service, as ever, was attentive and friendly and the whole atmosphere is very welcoming. It’s a special place and well worth a visit. We’ll be back.
