The Bull

I only went to this pub as a convenient meeting place but feel I have found a real gem. The village of Great Milton is gorgeous and this lovely pub is at the heart of it. It’s a beautiful building that’s been well looked after and now serves lovely food and drinks. The menu is reasonably small but very well considered. I really enjoyed having a choice of vegetarian options that all felt a bit different and as if someone was thinking about them rather than paying lip service. The food was authentic and delicious.
We had a dog and a baby with us which far from creating a problem were both welcomed. We met three different members of staff all of whom could not have been nicer. Somehow this has extended to the other patrons who were all also absolutely delightful. In short I can’t wait to go back and very much wish there were more pubs like this in the UK
