Bought 2 scoops large ice cream in George & Danver after strolling down the city. It was very nice, the ice cream is not too sweet and in the right amount for me. The staffs are friendly and nice as well. If you visit Oxford, you definetely should visit George & Danver!

Excellent location in the heart of the city. Cute little place. It is open from 9 am in the morning to 11 pm at night. The long opening hours is a rare thing in Oxford!Quick service. Nice seating area. Large portions. I tried the regular one scoop and that itself was enormous.I wish there were more flavours to choose from. Tried the coffee flavour and martini sorbet. The taste was fine.

I've been in here a lot recently to wait for my bus. It's such a godsend to be open all hours (until 11pm).And it's just so convenient in what it offers.Yes, for good reason people come here for the marvellous ice cream, which is an oxford 'must'.
