Haven't had a meal from here for years after a bad experience. Saturday we decided to give it another go. We ordered a delivery at 5pm when they opened, I think this was a big mistake as it looked and tasted like yesterday's food. Poppadoms were stale and soft, onion bahji rock hard. Didn't taste fresh at all. Forgot our naan bread had to phone them, it was delivered in 10 minutes. Our bill was just over £56 which isn't cheap. Very disappointed ?
The food was good apart from paneer tikka. We got a takeaway with Tarka dal, rice, naan and paneer tikka masala. Paneer let us a bit down as I never saw paneer tikka masala cooked in a coconut gravy anywhere. Its supposed to be a bit spicy in a tomato and onion gravy with spices. But rest of the food was great and big portions. Thank you Nawabi.

Wow, the lamb Dhansak, rice and garlic naan were all very good. Generous size of portions, which I can not say that every restaurant does. I collected within 20 minutes of ordering, so great service. I keep coming back to Nawabi as not only is it local, it is one of the best for quality.
