We've not visited for years as the previous owners had cats in the pub and I'm highly allergic to cats plus we like 'dogs welcome ' pubs.It was an early Sunday evening visit with quite a few people drinking with dogs so a good sign as far as we're concerned.Guinness was very good and service was excellent. A great little gem of a pub, tucked away amongst traditional Edwardian housing. Parking is a little bit challenging but worth the effort. A Fullers house, serving well-kept ales at reasonable prices.

My first visit to this little hidden gem of a pub!They had a Jazz night which proved to be very popular for a Monday night.Unfortunately they don't serve food but uniquely you are more than welcome to bring your own or order in and have food delivered! Plates and cutlery will be provided on request.Offering a good choice of real Ales I was served by Emma who was so friendly and welcoming.I'm really looking forward to my next visit. Cheers ?
