Cosy little Japanese restaurant, and over of our favourites. The food comes when it is ready, so don't expect starters to come out first; order what you intend to as you go.Although you can't book online, they'll take a booking over the phone.
Three of us were at a loose end on a Friday night in a busy Oxford, and wished for a meal at about eight in the evening. Everywhere was very busy - and noisy - and we were starting to despair when we found Taberu. It too, was busy, but also quiet and the food was magnificent.
