Came on recommendation of a review. Super friendly staff, especially "Faranta'(I think...? Sorry if its wrong) ...behind the counter! Great coffee and cake selection ( ...Portuguese egg custard!) with seating inside and out. Lovely just to watch the world go by! Thank you.

We stopped here for a coffee and cake, thinking this was a café run by John Lewis. It was not, just sharing premises with John Lewis. It was late afternoon and nearing closing time, so the choice of cakes and snacks was limited. Furthermore, the oven they use for heating small meals was not working, so we did not get what we really wanted. Tea and coffee was good, but served in paper cups rather than proper cups.
